I am David Hoelscher, an electrical engineer who attended Texas A&M University. I taught myself to program C++ when I was 12, helped my family construct an underground house, and led a collegiate solar-powered car team. I'm just a guy trying to improve the world a little bit at a time with custom circuit boards, a 3D printer, little bits of software, power tools, and my wife and kids (four children, aged 7 and under).
I signed up to Projects to share some of the things I’ve been working on. Although I’ve shared some of my work through other forums (e.g. Thingiverse, 43oh.com, etc.) The Hackaday Prize can be credited specifically with incentivizing me to sign up here in particular.
