  You can see the two channels in action with two halogen lamps.

  The original Zero Crossing Detector developed:

  The resistors limit a current and the diodes limit a voltage from the bridge. RC output filter reduces the noise from mains. Both outputs from RC filters must be connected to Atmega's comparator. Such schematic uses two pins of Atmega.

  I commited schematic, Kicad project and gerbers to Github. Block diagram created with Google docs. Looks good with transparent background ;)
