coffeeMAKER

coffeeMAKER will be the one-stop beverage solution for the smart home.

Similar projects worth following
coffeeMAKER is (will be, prototypes have been and are being built, so we'll stick with "is") a modular platform for open source beverage modules. The goal of this project is to make coffee something you don't need to think about by learning drinking patterns, gathering information from smartphones and automatically taking care of managing supplies. The enabling concept is a conveyor belt moving cups between modules providing maximum flexibility. This project is about providing the basic modules for a fully automatic coffee machine.

Hi,

Your project is similar to a project I made with friends in multiple points you can take a look about it here : http://the-blender.io/ (and a demo here :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vy3NnSj3pe0) I'm curious how you solved the problem of moving your mug and how you deliver some sugar ? You can see how we solved thoses issues in the documentation part of our project and I would be happy to share with you if you want.

Similar? no this is not correct. A caffee mashien is much different like a cocktail mashine. A car is also nor like a bicycle!

Don't understand why your comment seems so rude. You're true when you say it's different like a bicycle and a car, but i've not say that they are the same. the two projects try to solve the same problems and that's why I've said "similar in multiple points".

We have the same problems and difficulties (like pooring some solid and liquid to a container) and my goal is initially to share about those problems and solutions not about the differences between a cocktail and a coffee or a car and a bicycle but if you don't want to it's up to you.

Good luck and have fun with your coffeeMAKER you already made a good job.

No i don't want to be rude. Sorry.
But .. a caffee mashine is much complexer than just move the cup and oppen the ventil. Your work is good, but this is complexer.

No problems, this is why I want to share with you, we have tried to think about a lot of possibilities and design to improve our prototype but that was not so easy this is why I'm really interested by your project to see how you solve thoses problems :)
