Things I've Built

The Voice of Fire

A burning man installation with 13 flame speakers playing the voices of people who had talked to the art.

The L3K

2400 computer controlled RGB lights, embedded in cast urethane, placed in a 800 foot diameter circle around the Man at Burning Man. This version has been out there since 2006. The entire system was built from scratch.

solar powered camper trailer

A small multi-use trailer for camping and field work. Has 600W of solar panels and 500AH of batteries. Insulated well enough for the roof AC to hold a 30 degree (f) differential with only 400whr from the power system. Very useful at Burning Man.
