To teach myself Python I started working on a script to convert library parts created in Eagle into KiCAD parts. I haven't finished this yet.
I designed (in SketchUp) and built a pair of matching night stands out of nice materials bought from a "big box" home improvement store. I did all of the work with a circular saw, drill, and hand tools.
As a quarter long school project, my team of four built a metronome out of an Atmel microcontroller with adjustable tempo, clicking sound, and "swinging lights". I was mainly responsible for the PCB layout.
