It took quite a bit of time, but I ended up with a working CNC machine. Most of it is 3D printed, and most of the cost are just the motors.
It runs on GRBL and I control it with bCNC, two really great tools.

Started building my 3D printer at 17 and completed it one year later. Made out of either recycled or handmade parts.
In the first version I even wrote my own (not very efficient) firmware, built the stepper controllers and wrote the Gcode sender
