Desktop cooler it is! My original idea was to use a peltier device to create a cold air generator to lower to over all misery of my cube environment. There is one fundamental flaw with this idea and I think I have a clever way around that.
Creibsome wants a minifridge and I think I can accommodate that with some simple modifications. We could also make this thing into a beverage warmer.
The desktop cooler has a lot of practical applications for us desk jockies too lazy to move or who are unfortunately bound to their desks.
"Mr" Benchoff can be the tie breaker, should it come to that.
Because no one has added any other ideas, here's a list of things that "could" be worked on this weekend.
Desktop Cooler
Desktop Greenhouse
Desktop Brewery
Electric Car to get to Desktop
Desktop Weather Station
Desktop Coop Warden
Desktop Bio-Diesel

Is this really happening? I've been to Lemasters - calling this place remote is being kind.
It's going to happen for me, and if someone shows up at my door I wouldn't turn them away. I did add that it will most likely be a "virtual" event. If you really are interested please let me know.
Hi Nathan, I am working on getting another meetup going in Mercersburg. The plan is to have Brian Benchoff show up and pass out goodies. If you are interested let me know, I will add you to the invite list.
Yeah - I'm interested! I have family and grew up in McConnellsburg, so I'll definitely come there to help a new meetup. I currently live about an hour or so away.
"You think you have won this round, eh? Wait until I send a service droid to your house to destroy your communication--"
"Our plans to make this station fully operational on Saturday may be jeopardized!"
"witness the true product scanning power of this fully armed and operational laser check-out system!"
So what will it be guys and gals?
Start dreaming up your ideas and bring them to show the rest of the class. I will bring my journals and we can put as many ideas up on the white board as there is space, then shoot them down one by one, until the last idea is standing.
Or let democracy rule whatever.
Tomorrow I will update the project with the hardware that we discussed using. I think I have everything here with a few small exceptions that shouldn't be difficult to pick up. Let me know if you have any questions.
