AnnMarie Thomas will be hosting the Hack Chat on July 21st.

Hack Chats are (almost) always on Fridays at noon PDT.

Time Zones got you down? Here's a handy time converter!

Do you make kits or products that are used in education? Are you thinking about designing products to help others learn? Do you design curriculums? If you are interested in any of these, you're in luck! We'll be discussing all the things related to making products for educational use.

In this chat, we'll be talking about ::

  • Ways to define your product concept
  • How to build an educational product
  • How to sell your educational product
  • How to find a market for your product

AnnMarie Thomas, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the School of Engineering and the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas. She is the founder and director of the Playful Learning Lab, which explores ways to encourage children, of all ages, to embrace playful learning. She and her students created Squishy Circuits. She is the author of "Making Makers: Kids, Tools, and the Future of Innovation."

We are also fortunate to have AnnMarie judging the Hackaday Prize!

@Tindie will be in the chat too! Tindie is Supplyframe's answer to "where should I sell my hardware product?". Tindie is a place where you can buy and sell indie, open source, hardware. Many of Tindie's products are geared towards education.

Here's the sheet to guide the discussion!

How I would like to participate in such an event again. It was after this that my friend and I began working on creating a resource like https://essayexplorer.com/review/paperrater/ where we could read paperrater reviews, check for plagiarism, etc. I would especially like to highlight AnnMarie Thomas and thank her for such informative answers to all questions.
