I live a bit south of Kansas City and was planning to travel to that same area with the family to view the eclipse.  I guess I'll try and swing by and meet you.

We're flying up from Florida and have arranged to stay with some friends in Gerald, MO, which looks to be about 2 hours away from Boonville.  We won't have a car but might try to make it up somehow.  I'm going to add myself to the list but it will be logistics that dictate whether we can make it up or not.  If we go, it would be me plus 2 more.

Cool, if it loos like Boonville logistics are going to be too tough, just add your own event (https://hackaday.io/event/add) for wherever you scout out.

@Mike, I created a second event in case we can't make it out.  I think we may be within radio range of you guys, feel free to bring an HF/VHF/UHF radio if anyone that's coming has a ham license.  

Might be fun to see if propagation gets any better or worse, apparently 2 meters might open up, and also that propagation below 10 MHz might get better.

Being that there are some other radio nerds out there, it might be worth publishing an article with a few frequencies that Hackaday readers could try and coordinate on.
