In hosting a Hackaday World Create Day in our town it is our goal to meet with our friends and members of our local community to create something awesome!

We will all come together to create something that we design from scratch. We will also be brainstorming to possibly enter a project for the 2018 Hackaday Prize on behalf of our community. We hope to get as many people involved as we can. Everyone has a different skill set that will help us to build something unique. It will be a great experience!

The event will be located at our workshop in Newland, NC. The address is listed on our website that is linked to on this event page.  We will be providing food, drinks, and free coffee! All tools and supplies that will be required to complete this project will be provided. 

The event will be a long one from 8AM to 9PM. Creators can stay as long as they like until the event ends. Everyone who works with us on this project will get credit for completion with their names listed as the creators. Unless you would prefer that your name not be listed.
