We are co-hosting a meetup with Fablab Zürich! RSVP here so we know how much beer to get!

Fablab Zürich is located at Zimmerlistrasse 6, 8004 Zürich, Switzerland.

This is a Bring A Hack style meetup, where you bring the project you're working on and show it off to enthusiastic supporters. We'll have drinks, snacks, hacks and swag. We hope to have free development boards to give away as well.

There may also be lightening talks (5 minutes or less), which are short talks about projects or ideas you're working on. Email Sophi@hackaday.com to get on the list.

I'm thinking about going for {an early dinner|a late lunch|drinks} before the event, especially for people who arrive earlier and have nothing to do. I will try to find an acceptable place nearby and let you all know here.

Between the Pusterla shop and Hooters there are only 200m by foot ;-)

Right, Pusterla is in the middle of the red light district. But it's a bit far from Hardbrucke, where the FabLab is, and I'm not sure all the hackers would feel comfortable in Hooters.

So after looking around at the possible restaurants, their reviews and their prices, I choose Schlachthof (at Herdernstrasse 59, http://www.restaurant-schlachthof.ch/). They should have a choice of beer and enough room for us all, and they are 2 blocks from the FabLab. And they won't make us go bankrupt. Hopefully there won't be any match that day, as it's right next to the stadium.

If anybody knows a better place, please let me know!

Sounds great. When do we meet there?

Do you have any advice for parking?

I can be there at 16:00 (I have work before that), but there is no reason to not be there earlier or later, as you arrive. I really have no idea about parking -- Zürich is really bad for cars and it's quite difficult to find public parking spots. Although that place is close to a stadium, so I suppose there should be a parking nearby...

Thank you for the hint. My Agenda includes now, to visit a friend for dinner, visit the Design Museum and depending on how entertaining / big it is, i join you in the Schlachthof or in the Fablab.

Just starting in about half an hour ;-) looking forward to meet you.
