On your project page, a reader named "eko" challanged you to get your hand on making a controller board for a 2K LCD from VIVO Xplay 3S (http://www.aliexpress.com/item/For-BBK-VIVO-xplay3S-lcd-screen-display-touch-screen-digitizer-assembly-by-free-shipping-white-color/1873788630.html)
You responded by asking him if he could provide you with "a service manual/schematic" of the LCD.
I have just contacted one seller and asked him if he could provide me a controller board along with LCD, but it was out of his ability.
If I could persuade him to provide me with info on "a service manual/schematic" of the LCD, is it possible for you to come out with a solution such as what you did for the Iphone screen?

I don't know whether or not you would bother responding to my inquiry, but it just does not hurt me to ask.
