No, it's being read in the Arduino software. I added some Serial.Print stuff to get the replies to show where in the code it was running. I'm thinking of testing on my Arduino Uno to see if the results are similar. I can send the code so you can see it
A guy named Richard said to put a pull up resistor between pin12 and 3.3 volts to force the button high when not pressed. I tried it and that is the ticket. I should have taken pictures of the slides from that class. They haven't been posted yet.
I tried messing with the ESP8266 Thing and cannot get the button to read correctly. I hooked up the button from pin 12 and GND. It reads HIGH until I press and release then it reads LOW even with the button not pushed. Do you remember how to connect the button?
Hm.. Is that being read from blynk?
