Love your project - Im working on a very similar one ( #Handheld Programmer )

Im hoping to use it as a portable python programmer; add scripts over FTP or VNC into it to write scripts directly on it. I will use the buttons onboard to navigate through a list of my scripts and execute them. I am also wanting to put an Arduino Pro Micro in there, connected via i2c. The Pi can then send commands to the PM, which can then use its native keyboard library to send keystroksles via its usb. This would allow my Pi scripts to have keyboard control over an attached PC :)

Wow, this seems really neat. I never thought about using a VNC to remotely write scripts. This definitely makes perfect sense....way easier then a tiny screen. Thanks for the positive reinforcement. I am definitely going to keep an eye on #Handheld Programmer
