Things I've Built

Super Voltmeter

Standard VOM stuff, plus freq counter, cap meter, inductor measurement, ludicrous current, etc.

World control

Back in the day before arduino, in the radio shack coco 80's, took a pia and some chips to create input/output sensing and control for projects.

Dremel speed control

stuck a mini triac circuit inside a dremel case to control speed. Dremel charges too much, and this Dremel is over 30 years old and still going.

power supply

Old dell PS turned into a bench supply of 3.3, 5, 12, -5, -12, and two variable (0-12 v) outputs. Cheated on those and used $1 buck boards for variables... fast and easy build. When it takes more time for the case than the electronics...

Transistor tester

3 color led light with type of transister and brightness determines beta. I think I did this one at 16, so at 55 now, kinda old, but still works.

Bat listener

Heterodyne about 35khz with input from ultrasonic mic and amp the bfo to hear bats fly around using radar. Useless fun.
