Rice with Ducks Eggs

This website presents a spooky story.

A few days ago I purchased half a dozen of duck eggs (6 eggs) at a local convenience store. I found that the eggs were black in colour on the inside after I broke the egg shells. Because I paid a lot of money I was not sure what to do with so many spoiled eggs and this website is after all a crazy recipe website.

The photo below shows an image of a one duck egg (black in colour) inside a 3.5 litre pot of rice.

I added tuna, chicken and garlic. I also added Aioli sauce and cooked an entire pot of rice. I placed the cooked rice in the fridge and already consumed most of it over during the week.

However, later I found out that the egg were very spoiled because not only they smelled bad but I could see very well that the eggs were not refrigerated in the shop.

I thought that the duck eggs are supposed to be black. However, a Google search shows that duck eggs are white in colour just like any other eggs.

The owner of the shop believed that sealing the eggs with a plastic seal would be enough to stop the eggs from spoiling and this is why I purchased those eggs. There was also a sign stating that the eggs are coloured. However, how could they colour the eggs without breaking the egg shell first?

Now I feel like vomiting. This is one spooky story.

Maybe you bought preserved duck eggs https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Century_egg and you didn't recognise them.
