Funny/horrible translations from Farnell

They started to translate local website mutations - being from Slovakia I got served sk.farnell.com with partially translated website to slovak language (newsletters are translated too). The idea is perhaps nice, but the implementation is really horrible. Many of the parts of site is in English, so it is unusable for somebody not speaking English anyway; what is worse, the technical terms are translated absolutely horrible and often wrong. For example - operational amplifier translated as "prevadzkovy zosilnovac", meaning "service amplifier", though we have correct term "operacny zosilnovac" (= the exact translation of operational amplifier) used for decades.
Or shunt regulator translated as "derivacny normal", meaning "derivation normal"... what the actual fuck, friends?
Not sure what are they trying to achieve, but in local circles their newsletters are known as endless source of monty pythonesque humor, sometimes sprinkled with a bit of good old surreal poetry. I believe it is human doing the translations, but he doesn't have a clue about electronics - resulting in absolute mess.
Is it the same in all non-english speaking countries or just Slovak and Czech translations are that horrible?

Russian translation is/was also horrible. And I couldn't find an option to switch to English.
However, since they stopped sending stuff to people in Russia, I don't care anymore.
