Ok, just to clear any foggy air, I'll get this one out of the way. I'm a hacker, security engineer, geek and artist, I started "Master Monkey" as an intentionally outrageous stage persona through which I could explore my craziest ideas in sound art, without being constrained by my relatively normal professional life. Thus the Monkey part. The terms master, lord, ninja and other martial arts references are simply a signature of the underground "Lo-Fi" genre.

The handle was taken everywhere (how was I to know it's a Disney character?) - unless you add your own death threat in front. So there you go.

Over time, my Twitch performances led to the "Internet Toybox" project, and that led to shows where I work on code, robotics and other geekery. At this point "Master Monkey" so much resembles Gary Arthur Douglas II (that's me, hello!) that the only real distinction is two sets of every social media account. Thanks for dropping in!
