My son is learning electronics one burned board at a time 😊. As engineer my job is to design reliable non-smoking boards. Which makes my work hard and stressful 😊. Blowing someone else's boards is fun and relaxing. The only challenge is to come up with a creative way of burning boards.
Don't inhale that stuff too much. I was blowing things up with a car battery when I was a kid... inhaled a lot of toxic fumes... I guess this explains a lot.. :p
LOL, we did it only once. I have to say it was fun for me as well as for my boy. We have burned some other staff as well. Super Bright LED strip, pencil, old phone charger. Hopefully those fumes are not toxic.
My son's channel is called Physboom on the YouTube.
Ah, reminds me of my first years into electronics. Ripped apart tons of electronic devices, fried whole PCBs with high and low voltages. Much fun was had ;) Inhaled so much smoke from that stuff, still living. Don´t worry too much. After all your son now knows what the voltage and polarity markings on caps mean!
