Please linux + arm != mobile layout

Some webpages CSS really frustrate me, and hackaday.io is one of them. I am viewing this page on an ARM laptop with a 1080p display. A lot of web frameworks out there assume that ARM and Linux means Tablet or Phone. I even changed by user agent... http://www.whatsmyua.com/ says I'm using a Windows laptop. But, since some phone browsers have a 'use desktop user agent setting,' and for some reason the authors of these frameworks decide it's necessary to use all kinds of tricks to detect whether the device is really Windows or not, it has determined I am using phone pretending to be a desktop, so it must send me the mobile layout. <rant> This is absolutely stupid. Even if I am using a phone, if I said I want the desktop layout, give be the freaking desktop layout, who gives a crap what device I am using.</rant>
