"Tweeting" to Hackaday.io followers
Patrick Van Oosterwijck wrote 04/20/2017 at 20:06 • 0 pointsI have gained a good amount of followers recently, but for some reason they have not started following or liking my projects. At the moment I'm very interested in them liking my #LiFePO4wered/Solar1, #LiFePO4wered/Pi+ and #PTSprinkler projects since they are submitted for the Hackaday Prize 2017 and I need the funding. :) Is there some way I can broadcast a message to my followers to ask them for their help? Like "tweeting" on twitter, but the Hackaday.io version?

If your project is well documented, ping me to be considered for the newsletter. You can also be considered for hosting a Hack Chat. And ping @Shulie Tornel for twitter.

Yeah man, that's the only way I know of doing it, uploading it to the feed and like davedarko said, people that are following you will see, I'm not sure though, how many more people actually see it?

Your followers also see your pages in their feed. This stack page is probably in everyone else's feed, too. I know the feeling, I wan't to promote my #WIFI Game Boy Cartridge everywhere as well ;)
Anyone else?

on the other hand - they also see your projects and updates, if they're following.

So you need to make a "page"? Maybe it's the right thing, but it sounds a little too... I don't know... permanent? I'd like something that's a message to their feed that goes away and doesn't necessarily stick around in my profile.
