All my stuff is on GitHub and I'm not changing that until I have a compelling reason to do so. Microsoft may not have a great history with OSS but a lot has changed over the last few years. Windows Subsystem for Linux, Visual Studio Code, etc. IDGAF until the TOS actually changes in a concerning way.

Locked-In syndrome! :-/
I need to be able to report issues for some projects which sure will not leave GitHub... :-(
My private stuff is at GitLab but I'm planning to move that to $LOCALNET because I expect GitLab not to be the answer forever.

My stomach feels sick, when I read the title. I may consider moving all my git repo to gogs at home.

I just moved my old repo NedoPC SDK from SourceForge to GitHub :(
Time to move again?...

I've been using GitLab more and more lately. They seem to offer everything GitHub does, plus free private repos.
Is Microsoft becoming a cancer on open source?

Or they just want your data when you use "github login" as credentials elsewhere and others that access your contents. Some of us don't use F-book or Twitty bird or goo elsewhere. Or they just like to mess around with open source people's head. :P

I was just throwing Microsoft's words back at them :-)
