Panelize PCBs with Castellated Holes
GaryGru wrote 04/05/2019 at 09:52 • 1 pointDoes someone have some experience with castellated holes in terms of fabrication? I would like to panelize a tiny PCB which has these castellated holes on two sides. Would be a problem to layout a panel of e.g 4x4 of these tiny PCBs? The castellated holes would be not only on the side but also in the middle of the panel. Any idea?
Thanks,
Gary

Seed studio has probably most detailed PCB for manufacuiring fuide. Page 29 has the holes for panelisation.

But even if you "mess up" PCB manufacturer should warn you.

Thanks, pretty comprehensive, although no castellated holes info. I think I just have to talk to the manufacturer. Will share my findings...

Look around on the OSHPark web site. They had some comments on how to make castellations work.
