Enso
02/09/2022 at 04:17 • 0 commentsThis is a short video I just recorded today, 2 08 2022.
The Enso has a rich history, and I will let you explore that using the internet or books or dialogues with others. It is attributed to Zen, maybe Japanese and Chinese legacy, however this may go back as far a humankind to me, from the first individual drawing a circle in a cave, profound and one can take a life time to perfect by hand and brush. This is a fun exercise even for younger members of your tribes. Please enjoy. Click the gold text below.Enso - a digital way to make Enso using Affinity Designer I discovered.

Doz resurrected from the self imposed hibernation sleep.
01/06/2021 at 18:17 • 0 commentsHello, Hello, Hello. I have been away, yes indeed. These New Age challenges stir the minds of artists everywhere. New digital art and new writings were initiated. I have been studying and creating too many artworks to count as I study Affinity Designer. Also I am in desperate need of a professional editor to edit my first science fiction novel. It is in manuscript for, 12 pt. Times Roman, double spaced with glossary and index and in electronic file. I personally edited 5 times myself, but I am an artist - so a real sharp editor needs to go through it. I offer to share any profits of a book, movie, TV series, franchise or any other fortunate break of the future. For now I have no funds to pay, but would seriously and gladly agree to a future arrangement. It is a sci-fi original adventure and a perspective over time quite unfamiliar today. Now here are some fun images. I begged for an editor, now back to art. Many a new journey in the primordial soup about to boil up and begin. Much of my time has been spent in helping family and self education and learning. I may have studied and read half the relevant internet, sheesh. I have been studying camping, exercising and all the good habits of self imposed exile in plain sight, he he he. I start the engines of my shuttlecraft and set sights on the stars. Here are 6 images for you pleasure and amusement. Viva creative life !!!

"Harajuku Life"
08/01/2017 at 18:31 • 0 commentsHere is our latest PCB painting, see the link to the left in the links column to follow our new Facebook page, one month old or so. Harajuku is a philosophy, fashion, and a way of life. I tried to capture some of this amazing costumed life in this imagery, I provide two versions I am torn between. I love the lollypop spiral surprise I got in a conversion as we played with the medium.

"A Man and His Robot Lover".
07/30/2017 at 22:53 • 0 commentsHello to all who are beginning to take an interest and follow our designs for PCB paintings. This is the newst one. Based on Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss', which I am sure you all recognize, I have dabbled to make a close up version of a man and his robot lover. The upper hand in the original has always been intriguing and to me looks perfect for a not so romantic robot lover. She is there and not there, with a look of robot detachment and confusion, but not a sentient being just a doll of sorts. Kind of a science fiction piece. I can't wait until this and the new boards go to production one day. Until then I will continue to push the medium.

"Buddha and the Hummingbird", a dormant program is awakened.
07/19/2017 at 17:35 • 0 commentsHere is a video of me nearing completion on the newest PCB painting "Buddha and the Hummingbird".
To be brief it represents an awakening - either in the physical, spiritual, or mental and cerebral realms. Buddha awakens from his 40 days of meditation seeking enlightenment. A hummingbird is there at the exact moment and Buddha begins to move his eye over and morph it into a flower to make cosmic love with the hummingbird, as all things are ultimately one thing. That thing changes forms. Also it represents on another deepest level the message sent that awakens a dormant program, which upon awakening is a higher level program now, since a time factor has passed and things sychronize to perfection. Snails have crawled up upon Buddha's head to protect him from the sun, and much more going on here, like the diamond of the "Diamond Sutra" appears in the third eye chakra. -

This is a fun doodle of creating a crab, then making it a space craft.
07/09/2017 at 21:43 • 0 commentsThis is some sci-fi doodle for fun and so you all can see me go from nothing to something in 10 short minutes, using mirror mode in Verve. I would love to create some art of this nature for some sci-fi video game creators, if there is an opportunity, here is just a brief look at me spontaneously thinking up a craft from organic life, transitioning before your eyes.

Speak with the brain, "Blake".
06/22/2017 at 22:33 • 1 commentI have created a Facebook page for PCB paintings, thereby starting a community forum to post your paintings and if you join the group, in the left hand column, by clicking groups, the "Speak to the brain, "Blake", the theory is you can talk to the programming wizard and speak computerease to one another. I am just the artist, Blake is the brains of this team.

Two new board designs ready to bake, but not sure just when, yet.
06/15/2017 at 22:01 • 0 commentsThis is a tease. Besides "Get the Bugs Out!", there is another one in the pipeline. We need to go full bore ahead, we need to have an art gallery step up, investors step up, and let me rock and roll away the hours making cheddar! Blake and I see many a global application for these, see my partner - he does the business end, https://hackaday.io/bcr

Manufactured "The Nature of Ram" PCB painting has been posted to see!
06/10/2017 at 02:33 • 0 commentsSee photos of new manufactured 16" x 22" - "The Nature of Ram" board on my partner Blake's page, please. The taking of a photo of a large 16" x 22" inch size! is difficult to have uniform lighting and no size distortion. So here is our attempt to best to that with a cell phone and photoshop to repair skew, lighting, and color distortion, pretty happy with this image. Add to that the layers are reflective, solder masks, metals and an opaque substrate and it gets more tricky. So try not to be too harsh on image, the board is stunning and I am still basking in excitement!

PCB Painting in the final stages. "Get the Bugs Out!"
05/31/2017 at 18:15 • 2 commentsHello,
https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lnZ5G
How is the gang at Hackaday? I have added a new 16" x 22" PCB painting I am working on here in a short 10 minute video on my Artstation Page. You can see me address the finer details of refining and editing as well as working toward the next completed project in the WIP stage. Thanks againg for your time to view this and like or support me and my page, as well as my endeavors."Get the Bugs Out!"
This is a super secret tease again, shush...... Blake doesn't know it is here. Let's see how long it takes him to discover this post. This is a large piece 16 x 22 inches. It is the second larger scale PCB painting completed, along with "The Nature of Ram" - which is possibly going to manufacture soon.
Each of of our larger boards, as well as all the other smaller 2 x 2 inch boards and the 4 x 6 inch boards, used as experimental stepping stones to analyse and continually study placements, color next to and surrounded by a color, line values, masses, opaque light properties and more artistic considerations, have brought to the now of the ever intriquing medium and our sincere desires to express in it, yet also devise a almost new visual language.
When we decide if these will be ready for purchase, each buyer will recieve a detailed explanation of our thoughts that are entangled in the one of a kind design and impeccable manufacturing of these mind blowing boards.
We are adventurers and pioneers in this new realm. We are in need of moral and financial support and have yet to really reach the "Ah Ha" moment to unlease the new beauty of these lasting artworks into the world. It is a costly process plus the artistic man hours and combined computer explorations are bearing better fruit than we anticipated.
We are for hire also, as of now. We accept commissions, as we continue to give me the freedom to spotaneously follow my free associations in PCB paintings.

Digital Artwork - even the sci - fi realm is very exciting to me.
04/08/2017 at 02:24 • 0 commentsThis was created by me in Verve painter. I have many digital paintings, as well as fine art paintings. After meeting my PCB Board partner and the two of us discussing ways to combine software, programming, hardware, firmware and art our first joint endeavor of the PCB boards emerged.

PCB Boards designed and created as I continue to explore the medium.
04/08/2017 at 01:29 • 1 comment
These are the 4" by 6" boards I have created as I explore this newest and exciting medium. They have a vast amount of applications and can be even backlit. These can be fine art pieces, produced in limited runs, made into jewelry at sizes as small as 2" x 2", and as large as 20" x 10" or maybe larger. Being able to be illuminated from behind adds dimension and another surprise or character in addition to the stunning normal look. These are inadequate cell phone images, the originals are spectacular, and highly endurable. Only the imagination is the limit. We are open to arrangements at this time. All inquires to go to my partner Blake Ramsdell at https://hackaday.io/bcrThank you so much for the kind words, mellow vibes, and inquires....... fun is art and combining computers and art and maybe even robotics, we are very creating guys.

Parrot Head, with transitional stages, of a digital painting just completed.
04/04/2017 at 16:08 • 0 comments
Here is on of my most recent digital art creations. I am available for commissions and I would like to find a commercial backer to reproduce and sell my artwork worldwide. I can create almost anything digitally and am a tattoo artist also. So the possibilities are unlimited from nature, wildlike, still lifes, real, abstract and more. I am just not good at promoting myself. -
Project collaboration with Blake Ramsdell.
04/04/2017 at 15:35 • 1 commentThese are four new 4" x 6" PCB Boards I created the artwork for and they were printed out using an interface software by Blake Ramsdell. We are currently fine tuning our combined process combining our two skill bags as artists and inventive people. We currently are speculating applications and maybe really an art show, provided we can find the right gallery and backing to expand to larger fine art pieces and applications as even each board can be backlit. Chime in if you wish or can connect to a gallery in New York to provide a serious chat about a future world review and opening to be planned and discussed.

Newest Reveal in our PCB Board Artist Creations.
02/22/2017 at 00:31 • 0 commentsHello everyone,
This is David I. Herman, you can call me "Doz", an artist name I have used for the last 30 years or so. I am excited to mention my collaborative software artist I am working with, to create our artwork on PCB boards, and I have a few new boards in the hopper. This is a project that is a labor of love. A joint project to combine in the modern age a PCB board you can add real circuitry to and is also a lovely work of art. This is an evolution of a meeting of creative minds. We are now pondering short runs of a dozen each, limited editions, each perfect as the first. The first 3, 4" x 6" boards will not doubt become collectors items as time goes on. If interested lets us know, please. We have not set the pricing but there is considerable R&D, besides the art. Going forward art will become more spectacular if we have any say in it, he he he... We love creating and it is a challenge worth pursuing. Please contact my Partner Blake with requests to be on the list for a board and potential cost per board, I am just the artist.

Digital Bug
01/31/2017 at 18:18 • 0 commentsHere is a digital drawing of a bug, kind of suited to whatever you can imagine, it can be thought of as plastic, metal, organic, semi-organic, small, large, just use your imagination. It could also be a prototype for one of you robotic builders to make and post in combination with the artwork. So maybe it will inspire. I drew this with Verve painter,
and here is link to some of the coloring in process for you all to review. Here is the beginning video of my initial starting of the idea.
Alas, Here is the final couple illustrations.
These appear on my Facebook page.
