I noticed that the bed was very hot under me and very cold above me when I was sleeping. I then hypothesized that this only equaled out using convection. since the bed half was insulated and my top half isn't when I snuggled up in a comforter the cool side warmed up. So why can't I use the properties of the Seebeck effect to create electricity from the difference? Well I 'd imagine the heat difference has to be pretty high and I don't think I will hit those thresholds. but maybe I could store the heat for later use by heating up a liquid with high heat capacity and dumping it in a well-insulated container. similar to what modern holmes do with extra solar heated water.
