Description

Based on newest arduino zero board with powerfull mcu.
Native 3.3V, many sensors, modules and SD cards are working on this voltage level

I want small board :
=> fun without shields
=> I2C header
=> micro sd reader

= WINXI (because predecessor have small wings)

-user button
-power led
-optionall micro SD Card reader (not supported in arduino IDE now)
-RGB LED
-touch button pad (on bottom of board)
-I2C header
-Jtag header
-metalic Usb-A support
-in next version vertical Usb for usb host
-minimum components
-I think really nice shape :)

-Atsamd21E18 (TQFP32 > same size as atmega328), more soldering fiendly than Atsamd21G18 (LQFP48)
-no EDBG chip, programming via native usb only
-256kb flash
-Smart pinout !!!! Direct IIC/ TWI sensors most used combination vcc/gnd/scl/sda

Powered from usb, it is great, you can use any your phone charger, powerbank etc...
No jtag programmer required, board have integrated USB bootloader

    Adafruit intensive working on port micropython to SamD21.
    I have tested it and it is amazing ! Everything seems working
    REPL, Mass storage ....unfortunately I have no idea about Pyhon, but It is time to start learning.

    https://github.com/adafruit/micropython

    And what is best????

    Cool you can leave zero bootloader, just upload binary and winxi is micropython board, If you want go

    back to arduino ...just press twice reset button and use arduino IDE .... great ...

How much would parts for such a board cost @ 1000 units?

You have done a great job on this project!

Very nice project. I'm currently starting to build one of these. I already have AtSamD21E18 in QFN32-package. Can you share those version 2 PCBs with us please?

I really like dev kits with usb directly on the board. This would make a great EDC!
