Hi everyone,
We are Mike, Sofiane and Inès, 3 student from ESME Sudria (French engineering school) in first year. We are doing our first project in the perspective of the International Track. This is a medical project that applies to elderlies and disabled person, because we think they are a a minority, not so small, forgotten by the world. We want to protect them and give them a better life.

The project consists in a Fall Detector in the form of a bracelet, composed by an IMU and a vibrator, which detects when the user falls (as a collapse, a harsh muscle fatigue or a violent bout of epilepsy).

When a fall is detected, the vibromotor starts to vibrate until you stop it by clicking on the button.

After 1 minute, if it's still vibrating, an alert is send to the emergencies services with the medical form of the user and his location.

Nonetheless, to test the Fall Detector without disturbing them, we simulated them with a Tweet.


Find the Fall Detector Programm as a .exe or in Processing (in Source Folder). Please make sure that you have Processing 3+. If you want a 64 bit please ask Mika in private (Over than 50MB I can't put it on hackaday files.) We hope you'll like it Enjoy !

    Install Processing 3+

    Connect an USB Cable from your computer to the Movuino

    Open Arduino and download and open the  compressed folder : "Movuino_ArduinoFirmware_Adrien_Husson_CRI_Paris.rar"

    Put the name and the password of your wifi in the first tab. Then upload it to the Movuino.

    The movuino will be connected to your wifi

    Copy and paste the IP of your Movuino in Movuino Tab in the Processing Program

    Launch it and enjoy (or not) your product
