1 × Micro controller (maybe pro mini or Teensy3.2) One Controller to rule them all!
1 × RTC (ds1307 or other) Real time clock for alarms, logging, etc (may or may not be necessary depending on the micro selected)
2 × Drivers (like VND830) These wold be necessary to drive pump, and other loads
1 × Full H-bridge like the L293 This would be necessary to drive the fan and peltier device
3 × Temp sensor (like lm35) the input and output air temperature will need to be monitored as will the temperature of the water chamber
1 × Peltier device the "magic" happens here all be it very inefficiently.
1 × CPU cooler with fan This will be strapped to one side of the peltier device. Some of the fans used for CPU coolers have speed sensors, we want to look for one of those.
1 × Ice water containment device This will hold the ice water that will be heated. It should be easy to detach and place in freezer at the end of the cooling cycle.
1 × Mini peristaltic pump This will be our "compressor" to fulfill creibsome's request.
1 × Thermal Epoxy compound This will allow the Peltier device to be mounted to the heat-sink and the thermal chamber without poking unnecessary holes thereby creating possible leak points in this project.
