Cheap smartwatch designed to work without a screen

The goal is to build a smart watch that doesn't depend on a display. All information should be transmitted via vibrations.

The intended user are folks who either don't want to look at the screen of their smart watch (it's cold here in Canada!) or people who have trouble looking at screens (aka those with visual impairment)

The current plan involves a vibration motor that buzzes out patterns you can learn to recognize. Might even consider buzzing out morse code!

Huh, I hadn't heard of that... The idea of using two distinct vibration pulses is a good one though. Instead of a high pitch gong I could use a double short buzz and for a low pitch gong I could use a single longer buzz
