The main BMS board is designed

A project log for A 110 kWh Powerbucket

The lead-acid batteries of my off-grid solar system are dead. I will replace them by a 18650 batteries stack housed in a big wooden box.

I have finished the main BMS board design. It's currently in production at PCBway.

The board is based on an NXP LPC1549 Cortex M3 processor running at 72 MHz.

45 pins out of its 48 pins are used.

The board has the following features:

The schematics looks like this:

it is a 105 x 132 mm double side board

On the top, from the left to the right, one can se the Rpi interface connector, the pattern for the Bth module, the pattern for the Wifi module.

The board has 17 I/O connectors all around its edges:

The bottom side is a large ground plane:

The keep-out on the top is for the Bth and Wifi modules antennas.
