Philips Hue Switch with Arduino and ESP8266

Simple switch to control Philips Hue lights using Arduino Uno and ESP8266 module

Similar projects worth following
I wanted a switch for my Philips Hue lights but I did not want to spend $20+ for the one I could buy from Amazon. Not to mention, building it was fun.

This is a pretty simple project. Code is up on Github, linked on the left. Pics are obvious.

There's a rotary encoder with a pushbutton. Pushbutton does on/off. Rotation adjusts dimming.

A cool feature would be to add a second rotary encoder that changes the colour of lamps (if supported). Personally I'd like to use a linear encoder for the dimming function.

The github code refers to a file called encoder.h. Can you share please.
