A Collection of 3D printable parts for building machines and other mechanical creations from 2020 Aluminum Exstrusions. These parts are meant to be used with 2020 Aluminum extrusion cut to length for application. They are designed with M4 screws for M4 sized T-nuts, the holes all have 2mm countersink and are meant for hex socket cap head screws.

2020 AL Extrusion Erector set is a modular collection of printable brackets and parts that allow anyone with a 3D printer and 2020 AL extrusion to build just about any rigid structure they want.

Being open source and freely available allows anyone with an internet connection to grab the files, print and build their mechanical dreams!

I started this project because I grew up with construction toys of all kinds, in middle school I graduated to lego mindstorms, and in high school and college I graduated to 80/20 and other extrusions. I felt that the brackets by mainstream extursion brands are expensive so I designed printable and freely available ones.

Latest release of files and new parts, all available on Cults3D! Thingiverse has been getting slow for some people so I wanted to host the files somewhere more accessible. The files are also on github and this page. Cults3D:

Updated the entire set to Version two!! find them in the files section or on thingiverse

I adjusted the size of the slot guides and the counter sink holes. T nuts wont give you as much trouble with these and the countersinks support washers now!
