omega_garage allows you to control your garage from anywhere in the world. You can view the status of your garage doors and control them with with an easy to use API. This project should be able to integrate with most smart home hubs (may need to implement authentication).
Now supports sending email notifications!
Possible Improvements:
Use nodejs to create a web gui that is naturally hosted along side the API.

So the omega_garage has been running for a week or so now. I am yet to have an issue while interacting with the garage, either through http posts, or through the actual physical buttons to open the garage. So far so good, just waiting for a power outage to happen and see what happens!
Get your Omega and Power Dock (or Expansion Dock) and run through the setup procedure here
Install nodejs
opkg update opkg install nodejs
Install git
opkg update opkg install git git-http
This looks like it's a little more along than my own Onion Garage Opener, so fantastic! :) I'll look over what you have and share mine if there's any cross-improvements possible
