New feature planned: Time Lapse

A project log for Turn a cigarette lighter into an IR Nikon remote

Take a cigarette lighter, an AVR microcontroller (ATtiny13), and an IR LED. Wire all together. Now, you can remotely control your Nikon camera.

I need to figure out a way to program the interval for the Time Lapse without additional buttons.

Cigarette lighters with LEDs inside?  That's a new one on me.  What's the original reason for the LED?

Anyway, back to the button...  time held closed.  Then you need some user feedback, so shoehorn in an SMD blue led.  Hold the button closed for a brief press.  LED one flash, normal mode (or perhaps no flash, as this is instant-trigger mode).

Hold it closed for two seconds.  LED two flashes.  Ten second T/L delay.

Hold it closed for four seconds.  LED flashes three times.  One minute delay.

etc, etc, etc...

They put the LED so the lighter is also a small flashlight.

In the next version, I'll try to implement something like you said, thanks!
