M8 - Model 8 Arduino RC Car

The M-Series was originally born to fix a broken RC car my son had. It quickly evolved into an educational platform for kids and adults.

Similar projects worth following
Main Objectives
Had to be totally designed and printed by me
Had to be easy to reproduce
Had to be totally open source
Had to be modular so I could easily modify it

The car features 10 separate pieces
New snap together body creates a very ridged frame
All of the chassis pieces can be printed flat and on a high resolution
The car is totally enclosed with a lid
The motor mounts fit snuggly against the side of the vehicle
Components fit comfortably inside to prevent moving around.

This RC Car is a ton of fun to build and mod. You can easily add to the designs that I came up with or you can modify them to be or look however you want.

Everything is open source and is hosted on GitHub
