Just got my hands on a small quad, I was think this would be the perfect application for a tiny camera like OpenMV, now all I need is an open place to record some videos from the quad :)

I know it is a bit off topic, but could you tell me which quad you have there? I'm interested in building my own and that frame definitely looks like something I can use!
Also I really dig your OpenMV project, can't wait to get my hands on some of your camera modules

Thank you, it's a UFO U817W, the frame is quite durable.

What's the weight of the whole module? There is some very nice nano quad copters (especially the one from CrazyFlie) and OpenMV would be a great addition to something that small, but it can only take a very small payload

CrazyFlie was the first thing to pop in mind, especially that it's opensource and all, but I couldn't get my hands on one due to import/export restrictions, so had to use this one. I'm not sure how much it weighs (it is very light though) will need a super sensitive scale for that :)
