Opensource USB HUB

I made a custom USB HUB and now free to everyone to download

Similar projects worth following
I was looking to make a custom USB Hub for a project but I couldnt find any of them that worked and using the chip GL850G. The chip is pretty old and cheap, but in my case I didnt need to use any of the fast transfering USB3, probably the next version can be based on this schematic.

I have took the schematic from a chinese website and re-written on eagle + designed the PCB, which is not the best compact and neat design but it worked as prototype.

I am offering all the files and part lists in case someone will want to make a custom USB Hub.

Do you have design files for this?

You have discontinuity i.e. power/ground plane splits under your differential USB  tracks.  Might want to route those 4 vertical tracks else where.

Any thoughts about a Multi-TT version?  Using this Single-TT chip is cheaper, but it means poor performance if more than one 12 Mbit/sec or 1.5 Mbit/sec devices attempt to communicate simultaneously.

I am not sure, I took one of the schematic on the internet and tried to reproduce on eagle + pcb.

I found out this chip was too complicated and I made another one. Check out my github

Hi, does the differential impedance matter in this case?

You need to be careful about the traces, they need to be same length. probably mine is not to top standard but working as usb 2.0
