Got the TV yesterday and got it to show something today. I was stored for more than 10 years and had AC power cable cut, but still works. Nice thing about this  TV is that it is truly portable and can be powered from 12 V supply. Picture shows it drawing 0,6 A at 12 V. I used TV pattern generator with RF output to produce the signal. Next step is to open it up and see how the signal looks like after TV detector and if it looks anything like video signal from the generator.

Found a Radio magazine article about a display that is based on same CRT tube and probably has same or similar electronics except TV RF part. I need to understand what kind of signal is needed for such display. RPI has multiple video outputs (depending on exact board model). Three potential candidates for this are composite output, DSI (Digital Serial Interface) and DPI (Digital Parallel Interface). Every one of them requires adapting and the analog output might not be the easiest one.
