Connecting fitting are very common. (see the infamous swedish disposable furniture brand)
Jigs do already exists but mines are better ! first I made them (isn't it enough already ? and then it is easier and free if you have a 3d printer and some filament).

The idea is you don't have to buy Ik*a furniture anymore since they are never exactly what you need when it comes to sizing.

Instead, you design your own furniture, you cut the boards and using these jigs you are able to join boards together like a big boy/girl.

You need to print twice both A-Part and B-part, once normally and once mirrored (for left and right each)

There is also a mechanical stop to be printed (just once).

As for now, the thickness of the boards should be 18mm  (or more (untested so far)

    I added a mechanical stop for the Fostner drill bit. I think I am almost done with this project. I will do an easy test next week and if everything runs fine, I will post a tutorial video to show how to use all that stuff...
