Motivation

Everybody should make his own clock. 

Desription

flip-flop 7- segment are used to show time. 

Relay-based T-triggers would be used to count time. RES-9 is good enough to do this.

"One primary clock - many Secondary clock" system

Secondary HH:MM clock have STOBE input and each minute receive impulse from a "Primary" clock(in the middle of the picture). This system was widely used to cover huge region with precise time - all secondary clocks (on the left and on the right on the picture) ever shows the same time because all of them connected to one primary clock source.

Each digit have 7 magnets. For opening segment we need to connect magnet to DC for a short time. If we want to switch segment - We need to change polarity and send impuls again.

My first idea is to use Diode selector and relays for selecting segments. Two relays should change polarity for appropriate segments

Next step  - to decode 8421 signal from T-triggers into 7-segment data.#Numitron Hexadecimal display module  by @Yann Guidon / YGDES  fits perfectly for this.

I want to use #Relay Logic Clock by @Dave Gönner  schema as a reference for this clock.

It's depending on what I will use in counter block - if I'l use relay counters - I'l reuse your schematic, if there would be stepper switch, which generated binary signal from 0 to 9 I'l have to use my own decoder.

But I already have more that 100pcs or RES9 relays, so I'm thinking about relay counters first.

I'm curious about "stepper switch" !

Creating a binary counter with relays is too easy for me now, I want to learn something new :-P

Counter on stepper switch much more easier than on relays, because stepper switch is already a counter :)

But I have 25- positions stepper switches, and for clock I need 10-positions switch.
