06/05/2018 at 18:25 • 0 commentsThe goal of this session was to first find a power supply of 26V (max voltage for the ESCs , but 40V for the motors). We took a generator and looked if it worked well with a multimeter. And it worked corectly. We also removed the motherboard of the Hoverboard, just so it was clearer with all those wires. We can put it bag at any moment
We had to create plug so we could attach our ESCs to the generator. We created a plug with solder and heatshrink. We then pluged it the escs to our generator as we planned to. Everything was going well.
The motors beeped, the same beep to say they were receiveng juice but no signal. So this time we tried to give ESCs signal with arduino.
We thirst tried the default code Servo Sweep and pluged the arduin to signal and turned on the power supply, now a different beep. But still no rotayion or anything, and this continuiss beep.
We tried different codes, one specifically for ESCs. But still and always nothing. We aybe need to find a another way to send signal to these ESCs .

06/05/2018 at 18:12 • 0 commentsWe attached the two ESCs to each motor with the 3 wires. And we attached the two power enter of both ESCs together by soldering.
We then plugged the power entry to the big blue battery. Both motors did that little noise to tell us that they werent receiving signal. SO we supposed that everything was ok.
Now the goal was to send signal. We thought that it could do it with an arduino but we thirst tried with a remote control. We found a reciever and the remote, plugged the reciever to the signal wires of the ESC but nothing happend. We tried many times but still nothing.
We ended the sesscion by thinking that the problem was actually that this fat blue baterry was dead. So we removed it.

05/24/2018 at 08:56 • 0 commentsLast week, we unplugged the wires who were connected to the Arduino card and to the hover chair.
This Arduino card was coding to allow the motor of th HoverChair to move in response of the joystick but unfortunately it doesn’t work, because of the complications , and the motor.
So we solved directly the ESC on the motor of the HoverBoard. Since it this a 3 phased motor, we didn't need to think about wich of the 3 wires of the esc goes on wich wire of the motor.
The ESC has 3 differrent types of wire : 3 for the signal , but we will use only to of them, 3 for the motor that we solved last week, and 2 for power.
Nicolas started repairing the chair by sawing some parts of this chair made out of tube, mesuring the height of the hoverboard to fix the wheels
