The Ener-sweep

The Ener-sweep is a broom that generates electricity with every sweep, generating enough to charge a phone.

The Ener-sweep is a the future of power conservation. It is a simple broom with just a few modifications. It's like killing two birds with one stone- sweeping the floor as well as generating electricity. There are 2 DC motors held together by aluminium rods as seen in the picture. Both the motors have wheels on them allowing smooth movement and the wires of the motors are connected to a PCB circuit which has two bridge rectifiers for both the wires to allow flow Of current when the motors are turned in either directions. Each bridge rectifier is then connected to a buck regulator which is set at an upper limit voltage of 4.7 volts. Each buck regulator is connected to a 10 farad capacitor through a diode for unidirectional flow so that no current is lost to the buck regulators. The 2 capacitors are connected in series which stores the electricity. The capacitors are connected to a switch and a USB. When the switch is turned on, the current enters the USB and we can charge our devic

Probably make more sense to convert roller based sweepers.  The only thing is why make it harder to sweep by leeching out energy?

If you come up with a version which attaches to an electric vacuum, I'll be interested.
