They can be make out of lots of materials! :) Washer drum, wood, plastic, tire rim. My drum is made from flexible plastic bound by wooden hoops.
The conveyor is literally duct tape. I did a layer sticky side up to keep the sticky side off of the rollers. The 2nd layer is sticky side down to keep the sticky side off of the candies.
