Redox codename Ultron pt.4

A project log for Redox keyboard

The Redox project is an open-source, QMK (Quantum Mechanical Keyboard Firmware) powered, ergonomic split mechanical keyboard.

PCB ordered!

I'm a little anxious about the nrf51822 module footprint and the battery holder but what is done is done. I used the YJ-14015 module (which is a Core51822 clone) because is smaller than the Core51822(b) and it's a tight fit, but I couldn't find a datasheet online nor some machanical drawing to validate the footprint I have... we'll see.

Here's some pics of the board and schematics.

The NRF51 based Redox  looks a lot like a Centromere keyboard.

Wow, I'm flattered that my design was compared to the work of SouthpawEngineer. Thanks =D. Though I have to say that the Centromere is a far more recent design than the Redox (the first revision of the Redox keyboard is from 2017, the first results I get for the Centromere are from March 2018). As for the electronics I followed the Mitosis route where Southpaw use a different paradigm for the system but he didn't disclose his design so I am not sure... :D
