The goal was to have a board that fits the FeatherWing standard and gives me the chance to prototype something with the SAMD21 and Ethernet board. Sadly the SAMD21 and the MAX3421E libraries didn't play along well, so I had to stick to the Teensy++ 2.0 and lost track of this project. Never tested the boards until recently and noticed that VCC and 3V3 were never connected - fixed that now!

    I still need to make this work / compile with all the feathers, sounds like a good software project for my vacation, right? The PCB could get got an update too, all 8 inputs and 8 outputs on a header.

    After I read 2.7V on the VCC pins it finally made click - the VCC pins weren't connected to the 3.3V pin, but got voltage through diodes on the enable and SPI pins. This made me so happy, that I bought some new boards and parts and I will make this a tindie product at one point.

    I did something I haven't done before on this board, a matrix to reroute pins with solder jumpers. Otherwise the board looks fairly simple and boring, not much to route on it.

Do you have plans to make these available for purchase? If not, any recommendations about companies that can provide a small quantity of boards at a reasonable price based on your schematic files at the github site? Never done that before, but been thinking about it and this seems as useful an item to start with as many I've seen.

Hi! I've ordered parts and pcbs so I can put ten boards on tindie pretty soon. The files are on github and it's under an MIT license, so you can also grab that and go to someone who does pcba, if you want. I have not yet produced a board with someone else, but people here have. IIRC the #PewPew Standalone was one. Or something else by @ꝺeshipu

does this usb host give output voltage of 5v? :)

it passes the 5V coming from the USB pin of the feathers, so yes - 5V!
