Knob and Pins Mapping

A project log for Lerdge 3d Printer Mainboard Hacking

Breaking the encryption on the Lerdge series mainboards so I can try porting Marlin 2.0 to it.

I've been fairly busy at work (as in the job that pays the bills) but I ordered a knob for my lerdge X and soldered it in. Lerdge X and K pin mappings seem to be right, though since I'm not remotely using all the functions I can't be certain everything works (led strips? No. Probe? No. Motor fan, etc? Hahahahahaahaha) My test printer is literally a Monoprice Mini I wired adapters up for (see my other project for hacking on that).

I'll start a PR to Marlin main to add X and K boards soon.

Hey, is the github repo current with your latest changes? I assume the LerdgeSupport branch is what I want if i want to try building for my board?

My repo is up to date, but the other day I compiled and the result was a black screen (I didn't update any code, but bit-rot is a real problem - any project that isn't maintained rots). You're welcome to download and give it a go. My Arduino core fork has a branch with Lerdge support (I think it's actually called ST-3DP-EVAL, since i built that on top of the lerdge work).

I don't have an S board, so it's not likely (and I wouldn't be comfortable accepting one in most circumstances, since that would create the expectation I do something, and this is a hobby project).
