This is a peacock. Its beak is represented by a potentiometer, which adjusts brightness of LEDs on the tail. The LEDs blink once a second.

I had an LED which blinks once a second for no reason. Well, it didn't really bother me. I connected it to a light-resistor, enclosed them together in heat-shrink tube. When LED is on, the signal of the component I made is HIGH, otherwise it's LOW. The signal goes through the pot to the tail.

The peacock stands on two legs made from bent copper wires. Feet go to a tiny black breadboard that is superglued to a black paper. There are three IKEA 1.5 V under it that power the whole sculpture. There is also an ON/OFF switch.
