When playing around with Capacitive touch a while back I had this idea...
If your button is low profile enough and/or has a shield connector... you can make you button a capacitive touch button.... and a button. I know, there's a lot to take in there. But regardless, this silly line of thinking didn't justify looking at my computer let alone firing up KiCAD. So I pulled SharpieCAD out of my pocket.
In the home stretch of working on #Venusian Star Palm I'd already packed up my printer when I realized I still needed a way to connect the base and the top of the tree. There wasn't any tight tolerances or anything, really just needed 3 pads to solder two rod and a wire to, with a 0.1" header on another part.
SharpieCAD to the rescue! Big forgiving traces are easy with SharpieCAD. Note it's ability to create 90deg edge connections!
