I've tried various ideas for obtaining or winding coils for this project but none of them has worked out that well. I've been working on another project to make an old GPO 700 series telephone ring under the control of an ATtiny24. As a couple of sets of electromagnets for a Series 700 have appeared on E. Bay recently, I thought I could "steal" the electronics from the other project to use on this.
