Description

Animal lighting was a very primitive technology ecosystem, like toasters, brands make them cheap instead of invest in quality and research, technology advance and now is very cheap add features and automatism that some time ago was prohibitive. Adding LED lighting power consumption decreases and its more durable than conventional bulbs, and dimmable; a digital circuit can control automation for a very low price and give a nice user interface to control the basic parameters of the automatism like the time. This light can folow the sun brightness, got sinusoidal light output according to a real time clock, giving the maximun light intensity at the zenit of the day. It was designed to dont stress the fishes/reptiles/plants with inmediate sunrises or sunfalls, and to be unattended once its configured.

Details

Designed to be easy to use, only one button, an encoder serves as navigation and selection button, easy on/off, upsidedown sensor to turn it off, with memory at all functions, autorestore in chase of temporaly interruption of electricity.

This screen shows the output % in numbers and the decorative bars increses with the power to get a fast view.

Neddle:

This screen was designed to see the power output at large distances of the display.

Volume:

This screen was designed in order to be precise but graphical too.

Clock:

This screen shows the time, and the bar shows the power wit less priority.

This screen shows the timer menu screen and time configuration, was designed to show all the info in once screen and to configure the device.
